Shelbourne Motors Portadown will again be attending the annual Armagh County Agricultural Show this Saturday 13th June at Gosford Forest Park. Taking centre stage at the Shelbourne stand will be Top Gear’s Toyota Hilux, the first car to reach the Magnetic North Pole. This endurance drive was undertaken for the BBC’s Top Gear, by Jeremy Clarkson and James May, and was accomplished in a vehicle specially adapted to cope with the 360 miles of extreme terrain. The expedition featured two Hilux Invincible Double Cab 3.0-litre D-4D models and a Land Cruiser 3.0 D-4D.

‘The Armagh show has proved a great day out for the whole family over the years and this year will be no exception comments Richard Ward Shelbourne Director. We are delighted this year to give everyone an exclusive opportunity to see and touch the actual Polar Hilux that embarked on this epic journey. The vehicle is very impressive in terms of appearance and sheer size, but also the level of bespoke modifications that were made to account for the extreme environment is incredible, Richard continued.
Also on display at Shelbourne Motors stand will be a range of new models from Shelbourne’s three franchises (Toyota, Renault and Nissan) and Shelbourne staff will be on hand to answer any questions on the vehicles as well as giving away lots of ‘freebees’ for all the family – so be sure not to miss out on yours by visiting the Shelbourne Stand.
The packed programme at the Armagh Show will not only include a vast array of exciting cars by Shelbourne but will also include a full range of livestock and equestrian classes along with the other popular sections such as Home Industries and Schools Exhibition, Trade & Craft Stalls (incl. best Trade Stand), Dog Show, Young Farmers Clubs Competitions, Tug-of-War, Vintage Vehicles, Riding for the Disabled and many many more.
